Time Warner Cable Kansas City to have Major Presence at the 2012 MLB All-Star Game FanFest

The best baseball players in the world will descend on Kansas City this week for the 2012 MLB All-Star Game! Time Warner Cable (TWC) will be there to provide fans with great coverage of the All-Star festivities and will also have a huge presence at the All-Star Game FanFest.

From July 6-10, the MLB All-Star Game FanFest will take place at the Kansas City Convention Center Bartle Hall (301 West 13th Street, Kansas City, MO 64105).

TWC and MLB Network have partnered on the Enjoy Baseball Better Experience, a 75 75 fan area located near the center of the FanFest inside Bartle Hall.

Each day during the FanFest , former Kansas City Royals stars will be hosting meet & greets with fans at the Enjoy Baseball Better Experience. These meets & greets are free and open to all FanFest attendees.

Here is the schedule for the FanFest meet & greets:

July 6 Willie Wilson 4:30 5:30 PM

July 7 Dennis Leonard 5 6 PM

July 8 John Mayberry 5 6 PM

July 9 Frank White and John Mayberry 5 6 PM

July 10 Dennis Leonard 5 6 PM

In addition to the meet & greets, fans will also be able to take photos behind a TV broadcast desk, try out new TWC products and services, take a swing in a batting simulation and pick up cool giveaway items, among other things.

TWC Metro Sports will also be broadcasting live shows at 6 p.m. daily from the All-Star Game FanFest.

The live Metro Sports broadcasts, titled MLB FanFest LIVE, will originate from the Enjoy Baseball Better Experience. Each live broadcast will feature former Kansas City Royals greats, including Frank White, Willie Wilson, John Mayberry and Dennis Leonard, as well as other MLB celebrities. The programs will also cover all aspects of the 2012 MLB All-Star Game and also highlight the rich history of baseball in Kansas City.
