Let’s face it, there are many gamers who game on PC, consoles, and mobile. Unfortunately, that usually means having at least two different headsets in order to be able to listen to your gaming audio on those systems. Throw wireless into the mix and that number may increase.

SteelSeries is here with a new solution and has expanded its popular gaming headset lineup with the SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless headset for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PC, and mobile.

“With the continual growth of console gaming, alongside the emergence of mobile gaming experiences such as game streaming services and Nintendo Switch, gamers’ audio needs have evolved, and that evolution is wireless. Gamers need a truly multiplatform wireless headset that easily transitions between experiences, and that’s exactly what we’ve delivered with the Arctis 1 Wireless.

Ehtisham Rabbani, SteelSeries CEO

Featuring a USB-C dongle with 2.4GHz wireless technology, the SteelSeries Arctis 1 provides ultra-low latency wireless audio on the aforementioned devices. Some changes have been made from the Arctis lineup as well, offering up a more versatile audio solution for gamers on the go. The Arctis 1 Wireless features a detachable microphone as well as a lower profile headband as opposed to the ski goggle suspension style headband of the Arctis 3, 5, 7, and 9X gaming headsets.
