Is it possible to get back the pictures you deleted on your cell phone? Data recovery experts agree: nine times out of ten, it is most certainly possible to get back your deleted cell phone pics. So take a deep breath, relax, and follow the simple steps I’ve outlined for you below to get back your precious pics.
If you haven’t done so already, you’ll need to familiarize yourself with the term “SIM card”. This card is the brain of your cell phone – holding all your vital information like phone numbers, contact info, text messages and of course, pictures. Most of you probably don’t care what a SIM card is and aren’t interested in learning about it (I don’t blame you), but in order to get your deleted cell phone pics back, you need to at least be familiar with the term.
Here’s how the deletion process works: you delete a text message or pic from your phone, and the SIM card takes not. It pushes this once easily-available data to the back to make room for new data, since you told it that you no longer wanted it. The important thing to remember here is that this data (your deleted pic) still exists, even though you may not be able to see it. As long as new data didn’t overwrite it, your pics will still be available on your cell.
You’ll need two things for the deleted cell phone picture recovery process: a SIM card reader and a SIM card recovery software. They’re relatively cheap and you can get them on a site like Amazon or any large online computer electronics retailer. I’d be surprised if you had to spend more than 50 bucks to get both of these. This may be a lot of money to you, so I won’t judge. You’ll need to determine at this point if your picture or pictures are worth recovering for the price you’ll end up paying.
Once you have the card reader and the software setup, you’re almost done. Attach the SIM from your phone to the reader, and run the software. The good thing about the software is that it basically works on its own and recovers your deleted pics for you!
